Singer Slate Nation might have been born in South Sudan and raised in Uganda but those are not where he planned to spend his life. Whoever said that your past doesn’t determine your future was right and Slate is a living example.
After making it to Australia, many critisized him on social media but the singer gave them deaf ears and today he is representing South Sudan in Australia’s biggest annual festival.
Slate Nation broke the news through his offficial Facebook page and as usual, he had a few words of wisdom for his fans.

The festival that will bring together most African performing musicians from Australia and other parts of the world will take place on Saturday 8th, December at Federation Sqaure in Melbourne.
