South Sudanese ‘Young Tycoon’ Lawrence Lual Malong Jnr, 30, who has posted several pictures of himself lying in bed wallowing in dollar bills went missing on November 14.
Information reaching us indicates that he was taken from Milano Hotel, a local accommodation place in Kabalagala by security operatives who applied commando tactics.
According to his brother Mutarange Malong, Lual is suspected to have been kidnapped or arrested by men donning military fatigue from a hotel in Kabalagala, a Kampala suburb.
“I was called at around 11 am by employees at the hotel to inform me that he had been taken by men in army uniform and driving two army vehicles,”Mutarange told the Nile Post on phone.
Lual’s brother who was not at the hotel when the incident happened on November 14 suspects it he could have been arrested or kidnapped between 10 and 11 am.
Asked whether anything had been taken from his brother’s hotel room, Mutarange told the Nile Post that a further check in the room by the hotel staff indicated that Lual’s property was intact.
“’They checked his room but apart from his phones, a physical look at his room indicated that all other property including clothes were intact,” he said.
