Popular and controversial South Sudanese money flamboyant, Lawrence Lual Malong Yor aka Young Tycoon has thanked President Salva Kiir and the opposition leaders for signing the long-awaited revitalized peace deal in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa yesterday. Lawrence said he is the most happy person about the peace deal because it’s an opportunity for him to resume stealing gold from Kapoeta, Eastern Equatoria.
In a Facebook post, the money bag excitedly stated that he is celebrating the peace deal signed by the President and the opposition leaders.
In an exclusive phone conversation with our source, Young Tycoon said, “Kiir is the president of the people and if he had a chance to shake hands with him, he would instead hug him for the brave decision he made. I thank Dr Riek Machar too for accepting to sign the peace deal. He continued and narrated of how he benefited from peace before the war broke out in 2013.
“Kapoeta was my first home and it still remains. I’m going back to steal more gold and make more money. This is my chance again to visit Kapoeta and work together with Luis Lobong to resume what we did best before the war. The money I get after selling the stolen gold to the world market will be donated to construct modern schools, sky-crappers and modern health centers in Juba and some parts of the country.”
Meanwhile, our reporters are trying to reach Luis Lobong on phone to confirm Young Tycoon’s claim of stealing gold from Kapoeta.
