In 2007 then went for a diploma in IT in Kampala in 2009 to 2010.
3 When did you start writing about music and what or who were your early passions and influences?
Started singing long in my early ages in church then to school choir long ago But started writing my own music when I was in senior 2004 but first recorded in 2007
My inspiration was and still till now the American rapper BLACK EYE peace With his song WHERE IS LOVE.
4. What are your main impulses/points to write about your music?
Every music I write is out of a sincere feeling from my heart. be its about love Or social life or economic situations Educative Vibes and normally it either starts with a feeling then comes the sketch of an idea followed by the beats inside mi and the melody suitable for that particular kind of music depending on how I need people to pensive it.
5. Utaz ta Dunia what do you personally consider to be in a near incisive years to come in term of music in Africa?
Well am always driven by my first Slogan that says “Nothing is impossible” only if I believe. I have done a lot from where I started and where I am now but I haven’t yet reached my dream but in the near future I want to be recognized among the most talented and influencing figures in Africa and the world at large I want to see me performing in bigger stadiums all over Africa and the world. And there’s no excuse am very determined to reach and achieve no matter what it’s never too late. I see myself winning awards like MTV Afrimas, BET and GRAMMY AWARD.
6. How would you describe and rate the music scene of South Sudan as you are currently tipped as one of the living legend in the game?
To be honest with u I like speaking the truth when it comes to this Game that I caused it’s revolution in 2010 with which was call Silver X error so many fake artists in the Game had to be swept off and only a few survived it that time E.g. coozoz clan, Freedom boys and eventually gave birth to WJ as a solo artist this are facts only though it’s hard to swallow. Others came back after 2good years e.g. MT7 too was fresh and we did almost same kind of music hence he stayed. Hence the silver X error gave birth to so many artists especially dancehall coz they believed to be successful like silver x was to do dancehall music, And that time the music grew up to bigger heights no doubt a lot of competition with passion, As of now the industry is growing well with so many promotion companies and Awards companies too which is good I just applaud them they just need to put more efforts and put their targets and new artists need not to sleep after a hit most of them CAN NOT SURVIVE THE TASTE OF TIME which is bad for the industry.
7. When it comes to music, what are your criteria for quality? What are currently your main challenges as a singer?
Currently as an artist of my kind one I must admit is the kind of videos I shot and not the kind of videos I want to shot except Muwala was one of them and it created a good impact played on MTV trace Afro pop sound city, Music quality for mi thus days I follow the African music trends and I blend it to My style keeping it simple in lyrical content and codes not too many unnecessary words good beats good mixing and a perfect mastering of sound audible enough with its Natural taste no much auto tunes.
8. As more and more people are producing and releasing music, there has been an exponential growth in promotion agencies. What’s your perspective on the promo system in Junub music industry?
For mi u know am a very much independent artist who commands most of everything that I do in my music though am under a great company of rockstar I also do up to 90% of my music promotion, And the promotion system in junub is okay except that there is alot of hate in this Game this days coz most people involved are just not professional but rather rational, they promote who is good to them not good music, They should learn to promote good music not which artist is good to them based on other factors but promotion must always be for the good of the Countries Image.
9. Silver since your music has changed a lot in the recent years unlike the years of Fetisu sukul, Masura, Ana bi Wori, Wele and 10*, Please explain your creative process as per now?
As I said early as years go the music changes and we must not remain Adamant in our comfort zones of the old days we must be able to blend and suit to the new generations, But everything about Silver x [HIM} is still original except added a few flavors to suit the international scene and probably much of English than Arabic The beats and the hooks, But yeah it’s a Very positive Evolution.
10. Do you have plans again to collaborate more with other artistes locally or international? What is that process you usually carry to do a collaboration? And rumors said that you nearly did a collabo with Patoranking, is it true? And what went wrong?
That every artist must learn to put themselves into more work than just doing the same thing over and over, Yeah as my Saga love debut album ends this year with on more final release to seal the album, #KillingDeVimbo. My Next Year’s Album Is Very Ready In Studio and am Planning To Feature One Tanzanian Artist Male, Ugandan Artist Female and One Nigerian or Ghanaian Artist. But Most Of It Will Be Singles, I choose artist who are good and are current in the Game like my music and have positive influence in their area codes, The rumors about Patoranking is true and it’s in plan still coz it involves lots of finances but definitely my management is on it.
11. As your profile picture shows your photo attached with someone’s, can you please tell me or the fans about the lady? Or Are you married??
The picture in my profile needs no explanation coz that profile explains it’s self very simple. But for those who want to hear from mi again yes she is My Fiancée, We are not yet officially married but definitely not far from there. [he kept it short because its privacy]
12. What advice would you have for someone or the young artistes you’ve inspired and wanting to follow in your footsteps?
My advice would be very short and simple, let the young artists know why they are in the game and never divert their initial reasons to something else always have a focus to reach work hard towards it and believe always, Obviously this industry needs a smart brain too. U can’t be dull and expect to last long, never loose respect for the game after a hit or a win coz the race is long.
