This festive season is not going to be good for singer Check B because he is going to test jail for fraud.
The singer known for his hit song, ‘Soko’ is on the run for pocketing money meant for shooting “Soko” visuals from a music promoter based in Australia and cutting communication with him.
The music promoter, Angelo Majup has accused the singer for breaking the agreement signed before shooting the music video (Soko) and has authorized his lawyer in Uganda to handle the case and set the singer to the coolers.
In the agreement, Check-B agreed to Angelo’s Terms and Conditions that stated that the singer would use Angelo Majup company’s logo in the beginning and the end of the video but the video was released otherwise.
According to Angelo Majup, Check-B approached him religiously in his inbox and begged for Soko video sponsorship.
“Check-B approached me like a holy person kumbe he is a fraudster. He begged me to sponsor his music video and he accepted to abide by my rules. I was convinced, checked my balance and I paid for the video.” Angelo narrated.
Angelo has revealed to us that Check-B has blocked him on social media after swindling him and this has pushed him to involve the law.
We are following up this closely and will keep you posted.
